Career Bridge Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Career Bridge helps job seekers prepare job applications from their own experience. It is made up of this website and the Career Bridge browser extension for Chrome and Firefox. This page explains what information we collect, why, who else handles it and what you can do about it.

If you have a question or a request, email nseobongedem@gmail.com.

What we collect on the website

What the browser extension does

The extension does nothing until you open it on a page by clicking or tapping its icon.

How we use your information

We use it to run Career Bridge for you: to check jobs against your evidence, to draft the parts of an application a form asks for, to fill in forms when you ask, to keep track of your applications, and to apply plan limits. We don't sell your information, we don't use it for advertising, and the website doesn't use tracking or analytics tools.

Who else handles it

Some of these providers may process information outside the country you live in. Job listings come from public job feeds; we don't send your information to them.

Your browser

The website keeps your login in your browser's storage: until you log out if you tick "Remember me", otherwise until you close the tab. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping your information safe

Everything travels over encrypted connections. Our database is set up so each account can only see its own information, and CVs are kept in private storage. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use elsewhere.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you have an account. You can change or delete your profile, Evidence Bank entries and applications at any time on the website. If you ask us to close your account, we delete it and everything in it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email nseobongedem@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority, for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Children

Career Bridge is for people applying for jobs. It isn't meant for children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change makes a real difference to how we use your information, we'll also show a notice on the website.
